EXHIBITIONS TITLES

The attribution of titles in the canine exhibitions of structure and beauty promoted by the IBC aims to recognize the best specimens of each breed, which are closest to the characteristics described by the Official standard, and in this way, encourage breeders to improve their breeding stock using the awarded dogs as a reference in creation.

 

 APPLY FOR TITLES BY IBC – FROM THE YEAR 2017

Initial Champion:  All puppies aged 3-6 months

Puppy Champion:  All puppies aged 6-9 months

Young Champion:  All puppies aged 9-12 months

Adult Champion:  All dogs over 12 months

Grand Champion:  All dogs over 12 months

International Champion:  All dogs over 12 months

Grand National Winner:  All dogs over 12 months.

RULES:

INITIAL CHAMPION TITLE

At the trial, the referee may grant the title of Initial champion to as many copies as he deems worthy.

The copy that has obtained at least 1 (one) excellent qualification will receive the Title of Initial Champion.

 

 TITLE OF PUPPY CHAMPION

At the trial, the referee may award the title of Puppy champion to the top 3 in the FEMEAS class and to the top 3 in the MACHES class.

The Puppy Champion will receive the copy that has obtained at least 1 (one) excellent qualification.

 

 OF THE YOUNG CHAMPION TITLE

At the trial, the referee may grant the title of Young champion to the 1st place in the female class and the 1st place in the male class.

The Young Champion will receive the copy that has obtained at least 1 (one) classification of 1st place in its class.

CHAMPION TITLE

All copies over the age of 12 (twelve) months, who have obtained the sum of 100 points, compete for the Title of Champion.

 

GREAT CHAMPION TITLE

All copies over the age of 12 (twelve) months, who have obtained the sum of 200 points, compete for the Title of Champion.

INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION TITLE

All copies over the age of 12 (twelve) months, who have obtained the sum of 200 points, compete for the Title of Champion.

BEING THAT DOGS MUST WIN AT LEAST 3 TIMES THE BEST OF VARIETY WITH NON-BRAZILIAN JUDGES.

TITLE OF GREAT NATIONAL WINNER

All copies over the age of 12 (twelve) months, who have obtained 5 (five times) the “Best in Show” award, compete for the title of Great National Winner

 

 SCORING RULES:

1st IN CLASS:  5 POINTS

2nd CLASS:  3 POINTS

3rd CLASS:  1 POINT

BEST OF SEX:  10 POINTS

BEST OF VARIETY:  10 POINTS

BEST OF BREED:  10 POINTS

BEST IN SHOW:  10 POINTS.

 

UNDERSTAND THE CLASSES:

In each class, the referee will choose the first, second and third places separated by gender:

Starting Class:  All puppies aged 3-6 months

Puppy Class:  All puppies aged 6-9 months

Youth Class:  All puppies aged 9-12 months

Adult Class 1:  All dogs between 12-24 months

Adult Class 2:  All dogs between 24-36 months

Adult Class 3:  All dogs over 36 months

 

Champion Class:  All dogs that closed the Championship.

Grand Champion Class:  All dogs that closed the Grand Championship.

 

 BEST OF SEX:

The referee will choose the Best Male and Best Female from among

the class WINNERS.

Obs: Puppies under 6 months, do not compete for Best of Sex or Best of Breed.

 

 

BEST OF VARIETY:

The referee will choose between the Best Male and the Best Female, the best of the variety.

This subdivision is applied only to the breeds: American Bully and American Bulldog, which have the following varieties:

AMERICAN BULLY:  MINIATURE, POCKET, STANDARD, XL

AMERICAN BULLDOG:  STANDARD TYPE AND BULLY TYPE

 

 BEST OF BREED:

For the AMERICAN BULLY and AMERICAN BULLDOG breeds: The referee will choose among the best of each VARIETY, the best of the RACE.

For other races:  The referee will choose between the Best Male and the Best Female, the best of the RACE.

 

 BEST IN SHOW:  The referee will choose between the best of each RACE, the best of the EXHIBITION.

 

 TIEBREAKER:

1º – POINTS MORE AT BIS

2nd – SCORE MOST IN THE BREED

3rd – SCORE MORE IN THE CATEGORY

4th – SCORE MORE IN CLASS

5th – DOGS HIT IN THE BIS
