The IBC Board of Directors unanimously voted to implement a program in Brazil, already started in other countries in the world for mixed breed dogs, allowing crossbreeding to be done in a regulated manner, helping the positive development that this program brings, which benefits especially dogs, and that’s what the IBC values most of all!

What are “Designer Dogs”?
The well-known Designer Dogs emerged in the 90’s mainly in the USA, with a proposal to recover the hybrid vigor of some dog breeds that suffered from excessive inbreeding in search of racial purity, the proposal of the Designer Dogs was initially to work with the strength of heterosis in the genetics of dogs, basically using the miscegenation of purebred dogs, also known as mix breed or crossbreed, this segment aims mainly to no longer follow the rules of traditional cynophilia, these breeders were looking for new miscegenation and new characteristics in each project .
What differentiates a Designer Dog from a “dog”?

A dog as a result of designer work is in fact a mixed-breed dog, however, this mix must be controlled, selected and well programmed by its creators, through health examinations and the choice of the best specimens to be used.
IBC understands that Designer Dogs are not yet fully known among the general public in Brazil, but understands that the growth of this segment in the world in recent years is something undeniable and irreversible.

Shih-Poo
A charming cross between a Shih Tzu and a Poodle, the Shih-poo has a lot of personality. They tend to be a little stubborn, but when you look at that little face, you just can’t be mad. Peek-A-Pom
It is a cross between the Pomeranians and the Pekingese. They are funny, sweet and energetic, also known as Peekapom and Pominese, these hybrid dogs will delight you! From his purebred parents, this little dog inherits a great personality. Peek-A-Pom is loving and curious, dedicated to his family and always willing to cuddle. Labradoodle

The dog is used as a guide dog for people with visual impairments and as a companion dog.
Cavachon
It is the combination of Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Bichon Frize together and mixed together to make an adorable ball of cuteness!
Siberian Retriever
Labradors reigned as one of the most popular dog breeds for almost 30 years, so it is not surprising that their characteristics are the desire often in mixed breeds. This combination with a Siberian Husky is slightly smaller than its purebred cousins.
Shorkie
You can easily pick up a Shorkie – a Shih Tzu and Yorkshire terrier hybrid – with one hand for a quick hug, they usually weigh less than 6 kg!
Chiweenie
The only thing more beautiful than the name is the dog itself. This small-sized hybrid has the intelligence of a Chihuahua and the witty nature of a Dachshund.
Weimador
Weimaraners have silver-gray fur as a trademark, but combining one with a Labrador and you will see them in a wide variety of colors! With two athletic parents, these puppies can exhibit boundless energy, but a friendly temperament.
French Pomerdog
The French Pomerdog is a cross between a French Bulldog and a Pomerania, which is small in size, but achieves maximum cuteness. Its big ears and furry fur give the plush toy an attractive appearance, with a loving character!
Border Collie-Sheltie

Yorkipoo

Docker
The fabulous Docker, is a little Dachshund and a little Cocker Spaniel. Medium in size, these fun mixed breeds are surprisingly athletic and easy to train!
New English Bulldog
The New English Bulldog was created in 2013, they are much smaller and fuller dogs than an Olde English Bulldogge. To reach the goal, different breeds of Bulldogs can be used, such as the Modern English Bulldog, Pacific Bulldog, Exotic Bully and some others can also be mixed and registered as “New English Bulldog”. What sets them apart from the Old English Bulldog is the recreation of working Bulldogs from the old days. The New English Bulldog is an alternative English Bulldog, not a working dog.
GoldenDoodle
This very popular hybrid, he is half Golden Retriever and half Poodle. If you are lucky enough to own one, you will have a loyal friend who is always ready to play.
American Bandogge Mastiff
American Bandogge Mastiff were created based only on strains that have temperament, phenotype, and work ability. Most dogs come from crossbreeding between dogs from the Bull x Molossos universe. Puggle
Puggles are a mix of breeds from Pug and Beagle. They have few Pug wrinkles, but a Beagle’s longer muzzle, ears and tail – an appearance that makes comparisons with miniature Mastiffs. This unique appearance and friendly nature have driven a rapid increase in popularity since the first Puggle was created in the 90s. The people who create them expect to have the best of both worlds: for example, the relaxed personality of the Pug and the longer nose Beagle, which makes breathing easier.
American Bullnese
They are known as small and funny, Bullnese dogs are sure to bring a smile to anyone’s face. They are a mix between the French Bulldog and the Pekingese. In 1989, American Bullnese was developed by a breeder in Florida named Robert E. Rice, who wanted to breed an adorable breed. Rice originally bred five different breeds before finishing with the final mix between the French Bulldog and the Pekingese. The breed has a muscular body with a heavy bone, with a coat of different colors. Its goal is to provide companionship and joy to families.
